Hi all my name is Pam and I come from New Zealand. We live in a motorhome and travel around the country. Our motorhome is called 2 K 9s as we have two little dogs with us. Sophie is a Japanese Chin X Pekinese and Basil is a Pomeranian. Looking forward to trying some of the tutorials and hope I get accepted for the Beginners Workshop. Happy Easter everyone. :chocobunny:dancebunny

Hi Pam and welcome to PhotoImpact. You are really going to enjoy BW. It can be nerve wracking from time to time, but oh so worth it when you see how much you can accomplish.

Living on the go sounds like lots of fun! We did the motorhome thing for a couple years when our children were small and hubby was still in the Air Force. Great for travel, especially with dogs and no need to kennel them.

:yellowchick Hi Pam and welcome to PII. I also come from New Zealand and live in Dunedin.

My DH and I travel about the central otago region on the weekends going for picnics, fishing etc and i am pretty sure that I have seen your mobile home with 2 K 9s on it around Alexandra this year or was it last. Were you down here in the Otago region this year?

Anyways welcome and enjoy the fun.

Hello, Pam!! And welcome to PI-International!! You're going to love Beginner's Workshop and we hope to see you around here a LOT!!

I have a friend, she and her hubby also live in a motor home and travel around the country here in the states. I think they are planted in Idaho?? now, but they do take off and go when they decide to, which is quite often. I think it would be great.

Great to meet you! :)

Hi Edna
Thanks for the welcome. We were in the North Otago area Oamaru about October last year then up to Motueka, we are now at Waihi in the North Island.

to the PII board, Pam.

Sounds facinating traveling in a motor home. I never been a happy camper, but been to the camping show here in Brisbane and had a good look at the 5wheeler. What a caravan....Beautiful.

Wishing you a :eggpaint happy Easter and hope to see a lot of you here in future.

HI Hildi

Yes 5th wheelers are nice. We have a converted bus and have everything we need in it. Full stove, bathroom etc
and we carry 320ltrs of water. A far cry from the old camping days.

Hi Pam, thought I'd seen you!! My husband and I would love to do this one day so every mobile home we see we comment on whether it is the name over the front or the number plate. One day we say to each other................rofl.

By the way are you in Waihi Township or Waihi beach at the moment. Love Waihi Beach, Whangamata all round that area really.
I was born in Matamata and lived in Waharoa until the age of 17. Been down here in the south now for about 12 years. Don't like the winters much but i sure do love the lifestyle.

Anyways, happy trails, never know I might see your mobile home again one day so if you see some crazy woman waving at you it will probably be me.

Hi Edna,
Our bus is painted white with red and blue strips around it and we tow a van painted the same colour. On the vent covers on the front of the bus we have a picture of our dogs. One dog per vent.

We are staying in Waihi Township at the moment as my son drowned on 10th Jan while fishing on the rocks at Homunga Bay just north of Waihi Beach.

Catching up with his friends and having some needed time to myself.

PAM

Sorry to hear that  Pam, please accept my sympathy and heartfelt condolancese.

Waihi is a very nice place to rest up for awhile. You may see me up that way one day waving at your motorhome, still come up to the North to visit my IHC brother at Hamilton at least once a year.

Hi Pam - it is nice to meet you. Your lifestyle sounds rather enviable.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your son.

Thank You Edna. If you do see us around make sure you introduce yourself. You might see the van more so than the bus.
