As there's not a great deal of change in our seasons, I decided to take monthly photos of the natural lake, Lake Dyer which supplies ground and surface water to the area from the dam beside it. I will try to stand in the same position, it depends on whether there's a spot available. It will be a monthly weekend shot as there's a lot more activity there then. Where the boat ramp is, can you see the fish shaped coin collection tin - it's white on a white pole. That's for restocking with fish.
Here's a link for more info: http://www.previous.seqwater.com.au/public/source-store-treat-supply/dams/bill-gunn-dam

This is just great Mary, a place with activity throughout the year.

Well here I am, just in time for a May shot at the Lake. It looks like the coin collection tin with the fish on top has been taken away. I took this about an hour ago in the afternoon, usually a no - no as I was looking into the sun.
However I chose this one as I like how the waiting boat on the lake is in the light.

Nice shot, and it looks like there is another boat ready to join them.

Thanks Joanne, yes, I chose this photo because that other boat is in the sunlight on the lake.

Thanks Birgit and Bear for commenting. Interestingly there were only a few boats out there yesterday although the weather was a lovely mild 14degrees at the time.

Here it is, the end of June already.Arriving at the Lake we knew the speed boat carnival was on, but decided against paying the entrance fee of $10 just to take a few photos. So Wayne drove around to the golf course car parking area which borders the other side of the lake. A long story, explaining why it's in a different position this time. Not a very good shot, because of distance, but you can see all the gazebos and crowd of people in the background which is where I usually go to get my photos. We can hear the boats from our place which is about 2 kilometers away from the lake.
