First, just to keep you from scrolling straight to the bottom: no prizes on this one, only the satisfaction of a really cool Facebook page. And showing it off :)

Many--if not most--of you are on Facebook. Perhaps you posted one photo a couple of years ago, or maybe you're on there every day without fail. This is for all who have a Facebook page! At the top of your page is your Cover Image. Inset into that is your Profile Picture. You can have anything you like (within FB's restrictions, which won't be a problem here) in those two spots.

The Challenge: Create both a Cover Image and a Profile Picture that are thoughtfully coordinated to dress up your page for the holidays! Take a look at my page. Thoughtfully coordinated it is not. We can do better than this AND make it pretty for the season. Here are the sizes for the two images and how they fit together. Keep in mind that there is a white border a few pixels wide around the profile picture, so don't make something so detailed you'll run into a problem there. The cover photo should be 851 x 315 pixels. Can be PNG or any of the usual suspects. They suggest under 100Kb.

A side note here: the Profile pic needs to be at least 180 x 180 pixels. The 160 is too small.

When you're ready, please post a screenshot of that part of your FB page in this forum (start a New Topic).  You may also share the link to your FB page.  Keep in mind that whether or not our members here are your "Friends", they'll be able to see these two images, as long as they're logged in to FB.  Feel free to make more than one set; you could do one for each upcoming holiday (including New Year's!) or just a subject strikes your fancy. Post as many as you like.

And who knows, you might find a new Facebook friend!

P.S. This one will be ongoing and starts now so that if you make a set for any given holiday, you'll have time to actually use it if you like :)

Or to have time to change them out several times as your creative juices start bubbling!!
