Thanks, I get everything from here: http://crafts2do.com/
Instructions are there, too.

But I think I am going to experiment and try to make some of my own patterns.

Never too many hobbies. When you get tired with one you can go to another and another and back to the one and it keeps a person occupied! :)

Thanks, Joy. The rhinestones come with some kind of glue backs and after you place them on, you just use a hot iron. I use a pattern to go by.

What are Swarovski Hot Fix Crystals

Swarovski hotfix crystals or hot fix rhinestones as they are sometimes called are loose crystal components with a multi faceted face one side and a flat surface coated with a heat sensitive glue on the other. The faceted face is made from lead crystal glass that has been machine cut and the polished to produce a high quality finish. Hotfix glue will take approximately 20 seconds to heat and bond with a surface, but to fully harden will take 24 hours. Once the adhesive is set it is machine washable but not recommended for dry cleaning as some of the chemicals used can denature the glue, which may cause it to discolour and become brittle or dissolve.

Pauline I just love how your shirt turned out and it looks very professional, Glue backed rhinestones are totally new to me. Years ago I got a Rhinestone/ Stud maker, actually my daughter used it on her bluejeans on the pockets what she did turned out cute. :wonderful

Thank you, Rosalie.  I really enjoy making these rhinestone shirts.  The rhinestones are called Hot Fix stones and after you place them on the shirt, using a transparent sticky sheet of paper, you iron them with a hot iron to activate the glue backs.  I am amazed at how good they stay one through washings.

I tried the stud maker once but found it too much trouble.

Wearing this one today.  Just finished it this week.

Yep the rhinestone stud maker was to tedious I was glad my daughter used it several times. Oh Can't have too many hobbies or crafts and I have a room totally dedicated to it lol.
The one you just showed is so darned cute with mother and baby kitty. I wonder would some of the Dover coloring pages be suitable to make a pattern from. Maybe just parts of it?
I do freehand machine embroidery which means I move the hoop. I love doing butterflies too, and I did a cat head on a sweatshirt I made anyway that would be my main hobby besides what I do in here.
