Right eye cataract surgery went off this morning without a hitch. Patch will be removed tomorrow and I will get to see the results. There will probably be a delay in my responses for a couple days. Typing with one working eye and no corrective lens is making progress slow tonight. Things will be better tomorrow!

That's great, Joanne.  Isn't it wonderful how easy cataract surgery has become!  I had both done a couple of weeks apart.

Thanks all. I was very anxious about this surgery and it turned out to be a snap. They want me to do the left eye, although it isn't bothering me at this point. But, I am trying to time recovery time with my neck surgery and the beginning of school. We will see.

WooohooooO!! I think I'd go for the left eye in a week or two, get it over and done and recovered from them both before your neck surgery. That's just me.

wooohoooo!! Hey, where's your pirate hat and parrot??

Thanks, all. My right eye was corrected to see distance. Can't read with that one yet. Just had 1 week check up and all is going well. He has decided to not do the left eye. In two weeks, they will measure me for corrective lenses to get both eyes to read and see the computer clearly.
