Seems like I just took the Christmas tree down last month but sure enough the holidays are rolling around again.

What kind of activities would you all like to see on the board that are Christmas related? Since our group is so small, we thought it would be nice to have something you all would like to do

Ready for ideas

Billie:t-smile

I will do the ornament thingy again. We have added ornaments to the tree for several years. Last year, we did the Christmas Shop, but there were more "contributors" than now. Any ideas or preferences?

You know everyone can contribute more than one entry. I like the idea of PII having a Christmas tree in our forum. I know our group is small but we all seem to still enjoy being here.

Maybe we could also decorate up some Christmas stockings and hang them from the mantel on a fireplace. Or decorate up some Christmas cookies.

Anymore thoughts?

OK, how about a large Christmas room, with the decorated tree, stockings hung on a mantle and a table with cookies? We could assemble them all in the one room.

Yes, let's do cards in one way or another :yes
And Jo's room sounds good but I don't know how much I would get made.
Something involving our own photographs would be good - maybe also greeting card-related or a challenge to do a seasonal photo for each month, suitable for a calendar?
Something with "The 12 days of Christmas" as a theme?

Love the calendar idea!
We could also add little versions of the cards in the room.

Great ideas. This is such a creative group. It's always awesome what you all come up with.

So far I agree with all the ideas. Keep the ideas coming

Let's see... for our card challenge, either the progressive or each of us create at least three christmas cards, more if we can't stop, at least one of which uses a photograph, like Anne suggested.

And yeah, I like Joanne's idea about displaying a small version of the cards in the Christmas room, kinda like ya do at home, around a doorway, on top the piano, or where ever people display their cards.

Calendar sounds like a cool idea, too!

I agree. So who wants to do what as far as setting it all up. I assume Jo that you will take care of the room and the tree.

That leaves the Christmas cards and the calendar.

Possible idea on the calendar, submit your calendar photos for each month and then we can all vote which to use on a PII 2019 calendar.

I will definitely do the tree. I'll give the room a shot too. May need to ask help when it comes to getting the cards, calendar pic, etc to post.

I'm getting excited!
May I suggest we post our calendar photos on Camera Club, if Mary is agreeable?
