A photo is posted and people who wish to join in are given a new number each week.
Whoever is number one follows the first photo by studying it and taking an idea from that photo as their subject for the photo they post.
For example it may be a city scene with buildings, transport, plants, colours, shapes, etc. The first person may choose to follow with a photo with a bus in it and then the next person, number 2 follows with something from the previous shot.

General Rules:
1. You are encouraged to take new photos wherever possible but sometimes that isn't practical. So, we would love to see how the theme inspired you, but if you have the perfect shot waiting in your computer just mark it ARCHIVE somewhere in the text.
2. Unless specifically requested, please refrain from critiquing other people's photos.
3. Restrict each photo to 600 pixels along its longest side and 400kb maximum per photo. (The lower the kb the more it would be appreciated.)

Your numbers are:
1. Birgit
2. Cindy
3. Joanne
4. Billie
5. Mary

Taken at Laidley one October day a few years back, here are some Jacaranda trees.

WOW! I think there's nothing I can match that colour. Fantastic.
Cherry blossoms are nice too, but not compared to the jacaranda.

I love cherry blossoms! I miss the cherry tree we had here for years. Lost it several years ago to some disease.

Mary what a beautiful tree. My favorite color, purple. Great starting photo.
Birgit - Love the cherry blossoms. Reminds me of Washington, DC in the spring. Awesome follow.
Cindy - Your dogwood tree is beautiful. I love to see them out in the forest when everything else is still bare from winter. Beautiful follow.
JoAnne - Your crape myrtle is lovely. Do you know what the name of this one is? I like the white mixed with the red in the flowers. I have crape myrtles planted everywhere. They take no care and bloom all summer. Super follow.
I am going to go with a tree. This used to be a persimmon tree. Now the wild yellow flowers grow at the base of the tree in abundance. This tree is in my pasture.

Cool follow, Billie! (No, I don't remember the names of the crepe myrtles we planted. They all have been removed now and replaced with lower growing shrubs. I do miss the beautiful flowers).

ahhh, lovely photo, Joanne, with that Crepe Myrtle and Sky. We need to trim ours back, it is huge and there are a couple of electric wires hiding in the midst.

Billie, I love those wild yellow flowers. And perssimons are great!! The flowers decorate the no-longer-functioning tree very well!

Great follow Billie, love the yellow flowers. I'm following with a patch of sunflowers taken from 7 years ago in the country side near Laidley.
