A photo is posted and people who wish to join in are given a new number each week.
Whoever is number one follows the first photo by studying it and taking an idea from that photo as their subject for the photo they post.
For example it may be a city scene with buildings, transport, plants, colours, shapes, etc. The first person may choose to follow with a photo with a bus in it and then the next person, number 2 follows with something from the previous shot.
General Rules:
1. You are encouraged to take new photos wherever possible but sometimes that isn't practical. So, we would love to see how the theme inspired you, but if you have the perfect shot waiting in your computer just mark it ARCHIVE somewhere in the text.
2. Unless specifically requested, please refrain from critiquing other people's photos.
3. Restrict each photo to 600 pixels along its longest side and 400kb maximum per photo. (The lower the kb the more it would be appreciated.)

Your numbers are:
1. Birgit
2. Cindy
3. Joanne
4. Billie
5. Mary

This is an archive photo. We visited the Danish Flower Art place a few years ago and here is a photo of some of their creations. Using gourds, and metal work.

I like the place Mary.
Somehow it made me think of lizards so that is what I follow with.

Cute lizards!! Great follow!

I am following with wire mesh. This is our screen door separating the laundry room and kitchen. We were going to just close the original door that used to was but having that closed and the family room/front room doors closed (to keep the critters out of my new craft room) was making the a/c work too hard. There is only one cold air return for the furnace-a/c and it's in the craft room, so we put up screen doors. Worked like a charm! Except when the cats learned how to tear down the screen in the door, so I put up chicken wire at the top of this screen door. It isn't there in the photo and the screen is still intact here. LOL

Love your wall of colourful lizards Birgit. Great follow Cindy and smart idea too. Is that a new kitchen in the background?

Birgit, I love all those colorful lizards!
Cindy, great idea. Beats all the baby gates we have had around here!
This is one of the twins with Daegan and Kieren looking out of the back door.

Cindy I wish I would have thought of a screen door instead of baby gates to close off a room. Awesome follow. Joanne, you had a great follow but left me with a challenge girl. I am going to follow with a picture of the girl next door and my horse Tori. They love each other very much and Tori always gives her a big hug.

How beautiful is that photo. It's night time here so I will have a think on how to follow you Billie back tomorrow.
Well I am a bit late again.
I found this photo of our granddaughter Lauren (28) this was taken somewhere in Hawaii. So it's her photo. I reckon the new phones take great photos.
She's gently patting not hugging but that's all I could find to follow Billie's idea.
That's the end of last week's chain and thanks everyone for being here for the Photochains.

Love the follows, Billie and Mary!! Awesome!!

Billie, those gates would work fine for the dogs but the cats would still be able to get in. Cats are experts!
