A photo is posted and people who wish to join in are given a new number each week.
Whoever is number one follows the first photo by studying it and taking an idea from that photo as their subject for the photo they post.
For example it may be a city scene with buildings, transport, plants, colours, shapes, etc. The first person may choose to follow with a photo with a bus in it and then the next person, number 2 follows with something from the previous shot.
General Rules:
1. You are encouraged to take new photos wherever possible but sometimes that isn't practical. So, we would love to see how the theme inspired you, but if you have the perfect shot waiting in your computer just mark it ARCHIVE somewhere in the text.
2. Unless specifically requested, please refrain from critiquing other people's photos.
3. Restrict each photo to 600 pixels along its longest side and 400kb maximum per photo. (The lower the kb the more it would be appreciated.)
Your numbers are:
1.Birgit
2. Cindy
3. Joanne
4. Billie
5. Mary
I just made this 70th birthday card for a dear friend. So I made a collage of the various pieces.Attachment:

Nicely done! I really like the pocket cards. Made my Christmas "money" cards for the kids that way one year. Yours are much more decorative though. Great work!!

Lovely collage Mary.
My follow is a collage from Raffles school in Dubai where my niece and family lived a few years.Attachment:

WOW!! They did some pretty cool work and it makes a great follow!!
Ok, this is a stretch, but I believe there is a pond in the collage. I'm following with a "pond" enclosed in glass.Attachment: Last edited on Fri Nov 26th, 2021 09:39 pm by ScrappyGranny

Good thing that pond is enclosed or the inhabitants would be in grave danger!
I see a loved teddy bear in this photo. Here is baby Sky with her Baby Bop (Barney's sister) who would sing her to sleep singing the alphabet!Attachment:

Great follows Cindy and Joanne. I love the twist to the pond and the jump to the bear.
That fish tank looks great in that corner Cindy. And that hammock looks like a lot of fun for kids Joanne.

Beautiful card Mary. Great place to start.
Love your collage Birgit, great follow.
Cindy as usual your animals are the attention grabbers. That cat is hilarious. Awesome follow on the pond. Love your follow Joanne. Just adorable. I'm going to follow on the hammock with a spider web in our fence. Saw it one morning and it was full of dew drops. Sun was shining on it and it looked like crystals. Picture doesn't do it justice.Attachment:

Great follow Billie. Really awesome shot of the spider web.
I am following with a fence in a photo story. That's the end of this week's chain. One of my favs with many twists. See you next week. Thanks so much for your interest and support in the Photochains. xxxAttachment:

Billie, I love your web shot. That is a photo I would love to take. So impressive the work spiders do!
Oh, Mary! Snakes are fine in their own environment. I just want to see them first before they see me!!

Great follow Mary. Although I'm not really afraid of snakes, I don't want them crawling on me.....
