A personal note:
What is in a name?
Generous
Reliable
Affable
Comical
Enthusiastic
Grace. The origin of the word dates
back to 1125-75 A.D. and derives from the Latin words "grātia" favor,
kindness, esteem, derivative of "grātus" pleasing. However, I digress.
Grace is also known as "Sparrow" to her online friends. Far be it
from me to ignore that charming moniker and refer to her as Bird
Butt, Floozy, Madame Floozymeister, Her Most Royal Floozyness. But
my references to her are terms of endearment and friendship. No,
really...they are.
Grace has been a dear friend for many
years and she always amazes me with her devotion and hard work involving
the Visual Arts Academy. She never lets her personal life and its
many issues interfere with her duties and always has time to solve
problems and give assurance and assistance to those that need it.
The world wide web has been graced by
my friend, Grace. I consider myself blessed to know her and on this
special day, it is my humble honor to be able to say, "Congrats,
you old bat!" You certainly deserve this recognition and then some.

A personal note:
"Amazing Grace...."
I had the pleasure of first meeting
Grace years ago when the PIRC Bulletin Board was born. She's a kind
and generous soul with a wit and humor that not many people possess.
I'm in awe of her tireless dedication, ingenuity, numerous undertakings
and ability to multitask. I admire her for her creation and ongoing
maintenance of the Visual Arts Academy. Above all, I admire and
treasure her loyalty and friendship.
There are a handful of people who come
into your life that you can truly call your lifelong friend. Grace
is one of them. She truly is "Amazing Grace". Here's to you BB!"

A personal note:
I met Grace, better known to many as
"Sparrow", a few years back, right here on the PIRC forum. Three
or four years ago, I joined her staff at the Visual-Arts-Academy
and what I have found out is that she has the energy of a much younger
person. Her unstinting support and enthusiasm is freely given to
those of us at the PIRC or VAA and of course to her family and friends.
We share a joke every once-in-a-while
but understandably, hasn't had time to stop here on the way home
after a long trip. Some day Grace will grace me with her presence
and lunch will be on me. Her name romanticly evokes not a bird but

A personal note:
Wow!!!! What can I say about Sparrow,
also known as Bird, she is one super lady. I met Sparrow on the
Photo Impact International Bulletin Board. She has a heart of gold.
She has an awesome sense of humor. Always willing to help anyone
who needs it.
She inspires everyone around her. Her
painting tutorials are fantastic, lets even a novice like myself
paint a beautiful painting. So much talent wrapped up in one person.
She has become part of my on line family of PhotoImpact users. All
the best to a great Lady....

A personal note:

Everyone should have
a friend like you
You are so much fun to be with
And you are such a good person
You crack me up with laughter
And touch my heart with your kindness
You have a wonderful ability
To know when to offer advice
And when to sit in quiet support
Time after time
You've come to my rescue
And brightend so many
Of my routine days
And time after time
I've realized how fortunate
I am that my life includes you
I really do believe that
Everybody should have a friend like you
But so far it looks like
You are one of a kind!
